Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania
Overnight at Arusha (Hotel, Lodges, Villas)
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by your transfer driver who will drive you for about 90 minutes to your hotel in Arusha. Look out for iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru out of your right-hand window on the way.
If you arrive early, there will be time for you to spend the afternoon bird watching in the garden, enjoy a coffee tasting tour in a nearby estate, visit a market in town or simply relax by the pool. After a tasty dinner in your hotel, you will spend your first night in Tanzania relaxing before heading off on your safari the following morning.
Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Overnight at Tarangire (Lodge, Camps)
After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. On the Simple and Classic itineraries, you will meet your driver and guide who will be your host for the duration of your trip in Tanzania. You will then drive southwest, through rural Tanzania until you reach the park gate. From here it is game driving all the way to the lodge. You will then spend the next two days exploring the unique landscapes of Tarangire National Park with all the luxury and flexibility that having your own private vehicle and guide has.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
While gaming in this an often-overlooked gem, Tarangire’ characteristic skyline, framed by the stubby branches of fat baobab trees, is the backdrop for superb game viewing, particularly in the winter months of the peak season. Its marshes, which dry out into verdant grassy fields during the dry season, draw great herds of elephant, buffalo, antelope and other plains game.
Lion and other predators are frequently spotted. The park boasts over 500 species of birds, including some species endemic to Tanzania. Away from the busier north, the southern end of the park is home to camps that specialize in walking safaris, allowing their guests to immerse their senses in the experience of exploring the African bush on foot.
Day 4: Drive to Ngorongoro
Overnight at (Lodge, Camps)
In the morning depart through a game drive en-route through Tarangire National Park until you reach the park gate. You will then drive west towards Ngorongoro, stopping off at the stunning Lake Manyara National Park to try and spot some of its unique wildlife. You will have a picnic lunch overlooking the alkaline lake watching for flamingos, zebra, buffalo, elephant, and maybe even tree-climbing lions. In the
afternoon you will head back out of the park towards your lodge in the vibrant town of Karatu where you will spend the next two nights.
Day 5: Crater Descent and Game Drive
Overnight at (Lodge, Camps)
You’ll want to get an early start so that you are amongst the first people down on the crater floor. Not only is that when it is quietest, but the lighting conditions are at their best, and the resident animals are at their most active too. You’ll have some morning coffee and breakfast on the crater floor before going on an unforgettable game drive. Lunch can be taken next to a hippo pool and then you will continue your drive looking out for The Big Five, including the rare black rhino. When it’s time to start the return journey, your guide will drive you back up the steep walls of the caldera to the rim, and onwards to your lodge for a chance to freshen up and enjoy a drink in the bar before dinner.
Day 6: Drive back to Arusha
Overnight at (Lodges, Hotel)
After a final breakfast in camp, Leave and drive back to Arusha, stop and shop along the way. Upon arrival, at the hotel for the final night.
Day 7: Transfer to the Airport
Leisurely breakfast at the hotel, depending with your international schedule flight, transferred to Kilimanjaro international Airport for departure.

Note:

Wet wipes in place of a shower are recommended, as are slippers/sandals. Camping equipment (tents, sleeping bags, and mattresses) will be provided. - Tents will be set up for you.
Although the camp grounds are not fenced, armed rangers patrol them (camping is safe).
It's also a good idea to stay near to the camp and avoid approaching the animals too closely. (If animals feel threatened, they will most likely escape or strike.)
Tip:
An electric adapter is recommended because Plug G is widely used in the country, however a plug can be purchased upon arrival.
What to wear:
Short and long sleeves are recommended, with dark blue and black colors avoided.
Booking Terms and Conditions
Booking is with 30% deposit per person which can be paid online via credit/debit card.
The final payment of 70% is due at arrival in cash preferably USD (Euro, GBP & TSHS also accepted). Credit/Debit card payments have a 3.5% surcharge
Cancellation policy:
Delayed Payments: Contact us for payment delays; we may extend deadlines.
Disasters/Emergencies: In case of a sudden disaster or emergency affecting your travel plans, notify us immediately.
We’ll assess each situation individually, offering rescheduling or refunds based on the circumstances.
Regular Cancellation: Standard policy applies [2 weeks] before booking date.
